Toronto-based Porter Airlines has a new partnership with JetBlue Airways of the U.S. that will add dozens of destinations in the U.S. and the Caribbean.

It is the first U.S. interline agreement for Porter, which flies out of Toronto’s Billy Bishop Airport.

Passengers would connect to JetBlue through Boston’s Logan International Airport. Porter operates up to eight flights a day to Boston from Toronto.

The destinations added through a JetBlue connection:

- Oct. 7 – Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood, Orlando, Fla., Las Vegas, Los Angeles.

- Oct. 15 – San Francisco, Jacksonville, Fla., Richmond, Va., San Juan, Puerto Rico.

- Oct. 22 – Phoenix, Ariz., Charleston, S.C., Philadelphia, Tampa, Fla.

About 10 more U.S. cities would be added in November and destinations such as Cancun, Punta Cana, St. Maarten and Grand Cayman in 2015, Porter said in a statement.

"It gives customers throughout the Porter network choice and is also the first time that we will sell interline tickets directly to our passengers," Robert Deluce, CEO of Porter Airlines, said in a statement.

JetBlue is a low-cost U.S. airline whose competitor, Southwest Airlines, has considered operating in Canada. JetBlue passengers would be able to connect via Porter to Canadian destinations.
