Former Montreal Canadiens captain Brian Gionta has signed a contract with the Buffalo Sabres.
That means it's time to offload his gorgeous Brossard, Que.-area home, which is now on the market for $1,450,000.
Built in 2006, the home has six bedrooms, five bathrooms and a gas fireplace, according to a RE/MAX listing.
Gionta bought it for $1.3 million in 2009, according to Dans les Coulisses.
And he's not the only high-profile hockey player to throw his home on the market recently. Ex-Senators captain Jason Spezza put his Ottawa mansion up for sale for $1.69 million once he was traded to the Dallas Stars.
