Good news, parents. If you haven't taken a look at your kid's university yet, Google just saved you a whole lot of gas.
Right around the time that many students are preparing to go off to school, the tech company has added some Canadian institutions to its collection of universities on Street View.
Only three Canadian schools are on Street View so far, the University of Calgary, Manitoba and Regina, but the University of Saskatchewan will soon be added and Google hopes to add more in the future, a representative told the Toronto Star. The schools that were picked asked to be mapped, she said.
Users can also tour almost two dozen U.S. schools newly added to Street View, including Ivy League institutions like Yale and Dartmouth, as well as the University of Glasgow in Scotland, Keio and Waseda universities in Japan, and Trinity College in Dublin.
