The telecommunications company recently gave a loyal customer of two decades the surprise of her life.
The company asked Guelph, Ont., resident Ramona Ostrander for an interview about her experience with Telus, but had something entirely different up its sleeves. The Telus team surprised the real estate agent with coffee, 4,000 flowers, and finally a chance to fulfill her life-long dream of flying in an airshow plane – with her name on it.
Telus isn't stopping at that. The company is driving its Care-a-Van through Guelph this week, hosting week-long events to thank customers. It's also going door-to-door thanking its top 100 customers with care packages, according to Vancouver blog, Vancity Buzz.
Those outside of Guelph can also get in on the action. From June 25 to July 1, Telus is also extending its gratitude by holding a contest with five Samsung GS5 phones up for grabs, when participants tweet with the #actsofcaring. Every use of the hashtag will donate $5 to the Guelph Children’s Foundation, reports Vancity Buzz.
